Hilda Crockett’s Chesapeake House is the oldest operating bed and breakfast on Tangier Island. It has run continuously since 1939, when it first opened as a boarding house. Our bed and breakfast has 8 rooms- 5 in the main house & 3 located across the street above our restaurant. The main house features a sitting room that has a coffee center, and lots of books and articles about Tangier Island that are available for our guests. Both houses feature a screened porch that seems to be a favorite place to gather.

With 8 different room sizes we are bound to have what will suit you needs. We offer everything from 1 queen size bed to rooms with 3 doubles and 1 single sizes. Please call for rates and more information.
