Tangier Island offer several different options for overnight visits. You can enjoy one of the island Bed and Breakfast’s or stay in a furnished home. Most places are pet friendly but you should call in advance to make arrangements.

Bay View Inn
The Bay View Inn is the oldest home on the island. It was once featured in the National Geographic magazine that featured Tangier Island. It has 3 rooms in the main house or you can select 1 of 10 suites that are built on the property. When you stay you can enjoy the wonderful sunset from the gazebo overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.

Chesapeake House
Hilda Crockett’s Chesapeake House is one of the oldest houses on Tangier Island. This B&B consists of two houses directly across from each other, centrally located onthe island to nearby shops, and not far from the island beach. For their overnight guests, breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Chesapeake House is included in the accommodation rate, as well as transportation to and from either the island boat dock or the airport.

Mimosa Cottage
Less than a 5 to 10 minute walk to shopping, restaurants, history museum, kayaking, and more.
The Mimosa Cottage sleeps five persons comfortably.
Home is completely furnished including TV. We furnish all bed linens, fresh bath towels, wash clothes, kitchen towels, all kitchen utensils, pots/pans, microwave, coffee pot, washer & dryer, etc.

Island Girl Get-A-Way
This beautiful two-story Tangier Island home has been recently renovated. We are smoke-free and pet-free.
Our getaway is located on Tangier Islands West Ridge Road on the western side of the island near its beach. It provides a home-away-from-home while you explore the island’s unique lifestyle. The island has beaches, restaurants, gift shops, and a local museum. One may fish or crab from its docks, and rent bikes or golf carts for transportation around the island.
